Melvin Mora sponsored the Melvin & Gisel Mora Charity Golf Tournament benefitting Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital for various years.  Melvin Mora helped the hospital raise over hundreds of thousands of dollars along with various celebrities who attended the event throughout the years.  For years, Mora gave to the hospital in multiple forms to help contribute the high level of care, both in services and facilities Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital continues to provide children in the City of Maryland, never excluding underprivileged children and families in the community despite their financial insufficiencies
